KCT donates to local foodbanks
The King Country Trust (previously the King Country Electric Power Trust) has donated a total of $20,000 to local foodbanks in Taumarunui, Turangi and Ohakune.
“We know that there is an immediate need within our communities” said Adie Doyle, Trust Chair. “Resources were getting low in all three areas as a result of Covid -19 and we were happy to assist in this regard.”
Planning and preparation for the construction of the St John Ambulance garaging in Turangi continues and funds will be forwarded to that organization next week as planned.
